Lunch special Fish & Chips was tasty and reasonably priced. The service was efficient and friendly. With pictures of Labs, you can't beat the decor.
The service was good. The food was good . The booths are really big lots of room. In all head a great experience with the family. First time there too.
Bartender, Megan (sorry of you spell it differently) is the best! She is bubbly, fast and willing to take the blame if something doesn't come out right. She was amazing! She is the only reason we come back!

Two couples ate there Monday at approximately 3 pm, October 16, 2017. Three had Delmonico Steak dinners; I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Service was excellent. Beer perfect.
Food another story. The bacon cheeseburger was ordered medium, which should leave a warm, pink center, that remains plenty juicy. Received gray, crusty, dry - in other words, super well-done - meat. Fries were either baked or had been underneath a heat lamp all afternoon, as they arrived dry, cold, and rubbery. No indication whatsoever of deep frying. Bun was cold and dry, as opposed to grilled. One tiny piece of lettuce. Mayonnaise was so soupy it reminded me of white water. Others remarked that Delmonico steaks, which should be among the most flavorful of cuts, were tough, dry and over-cooked.
Service was just so so. Food was nothing to brag about. Most of it was cold, it took a lot longer than it should have to receive it. My husband's prime rib was way over cooked. Not a hint of pink. He also ordered a side of salmon, it was cooked properly but since it was left under the heat too long in the kitchen (it was forgotten about by the server) it was dry. No offer of butter, lemon, tarter etc for it. I may try Jake's again but it will definitely not be in My. Vernon Ohio.
